FIRST ALERT: Warm Monday… Cooler for Thanksgiving!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — High pressure will bring us a dry and mild start to the week, but major changes are in store as we approach Thanksgiving!
Look for a great Monday afternoon and evening. Lots of sunshine near 70.
Our next cold front is set to make a quicker approach, which will allow for isolated rain chances to develop as soon as Tuesday morning. Rainfall totals should stay relatively low through Wednesday night.
Thanksgiving Day now looks to be rain-free as the aforementioned front pushes offshore. Early morning clouds will give way to a sunny sky during the afternoon; temperatures will be noticeably cooler with daytime highs only poised to reach the low 60s.
Temperatures may approach freezing inland for Thursday and Friday nights as a stronger area of high pressure builds in. Below-average temperatures are also favored into next weekend ahead of a gradual warmup for the first week of December.
