Harry Kane just keeps getting better and better and better. We are a little over three months into the 2025/26 campaign, and the Bayern Munich striker is already closing in on 30 goals across all competitions. That is a remarkable sum from the 32-year-old England skipper, who will return to north London on Wednesday when Arsenal host Bayern, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

His form bodes well for Thomas Tuchel and The Three Lions, with it being a FIFA World Cup year.

The Tottenham Hotspur and England record goalscorer has always been at the top end of the goalscoring charts, as proven by his extensive collection of Golden Boots.

He claimed three during his time with Spurs in the Premier League, added another as the top scorer at the 2018 World Cup, and since moving to Germany, he has finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer in his first two seasons. That is not to mention his goalscoring accolades in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA European Championship.

Evidently, Kane has always known where the goal is, but this season he has taken his game to new heights.

In just 18 matches for Bayern Munich, the London-born striker has struck 27 times in all competitions.

With goals alone, Kane has more goal contributions than any other player in Europe, but when you bring his four assists to the table, the margin at the top becomes considerably wider.

Manchester City star Erling Haaland is his closest rival with 24 goals and assists for City, but that is still seven contributions shy of Kane’s Europe-leading 31.

Kane’s contribution thus far has fired Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga table, where they are on course for a second successive Meisterschale.

With Michael Olise and Luis Diaz also in the top five, things look positive for Vincent Kompany’s side, who are also leading the Champions League table after four games.

Helped by Kane’s four goals in the competition, Bayern have a 100% record in Europe, as do his old rivals and second-place Arsenal.

Kane will be hoping to improve his already devastating record against The Gunners when the Germans visit Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

It will be a true test of Kane’s goalscoring excellence and Arsenal’s resilience at the back, with the most in-form striker on the continent facing the side yet to concede a goal in Europe.

Bayern may need more than just Kane’s ability to find the back of the net, and that is something he can provide.

Compared to other forwards across the top five leagues in Europe, Kane is ranked seventh for chances created.

Despite his goalscoring prowess, he has still found time to set up his team-mates on 36 occasions.

In domestic competitions, Kane has scored 14 times this season, and he is on track to break the record for the most goals scored in a Bundesliga season.

Robert Lewandowski holds the current record of 41, but should Kane continue on the trajectory he is on, he would reach 43 goals by the end of the season.

Kane has made the top 10 for most goals scored in a Premier League season four times. His best was 30 (which he registered twice) – six behind leader Haaland – which ranked him joint fifth.

But it is clear that Kane has risen to another level in Germany. He has now scored 76 goals in 74 Bundesliga matches – averaging an astonishing 1.03 goals per match, and he is a quarter of the way through his third season in Munich.

With Bayern fighting on all fronts domestically and in Europe, and a World Cup to be played at the end of the season, could Kane complete football with one of the all-time great seasons?
