The most joyful moment came right after the glorious win of the World Cup by the Women’s Cricket Team of India. Palash flaunted a tattoo on his hand, with Smriti’s initials and her jersey number. Then came the viral Instagram Reel, one, where Palash took a blindfolded Smriti, dressed in red, to the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, where she, along with her team, lifted the World Cup and proposed her with the engagement ring, and another where Smriti, surrounded by her Women’s Cricket World Cup teammates, danced her way into a beautiful reveal, raising her hand to proudly show off her engagement ring. Pre-wedding festivities
Smriti and Palash were set to tie the knot in Sangli, Maharashtra — Smriti’s hometown on November 23. The wedding festivities had started a couple of days prior to the wedding date. Their Haldi pictures have already painted the internet in a bright and happy shade of yellow.
Wedding postponed
However, on November 24, Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, announced on her Instagram account that the wedding had been postponed. This happened after rumours said that Smriti’s father had been hospitalised. On Monday, different reports suggested that Palash had also been admitted to the hospital.

Unexpectedly, a woman suddenly revealed her conversation with Palash. Screenshots of the singer’s conversation became popular on Reddit shortly after Palak said that the families had decided to postpone Palash and Smriti’s wedding. The screenshots were shared on Mary D’Costa’s Instagram feed. Palash had talked to Mary about his long-distance connection with the cricket player and of taking tours with her.
Palash’s flirtatious conversation
He complimented the woman’s appearance in communications that seemed flirtatious. Palash even invited her to go swimming with him, then to a spa, and then to Versova beach in Mumbai at approximately five in the morning.
