Why the I’m a Celeb Aitch/Ginge love-in with Ruby Wax is over

They’ve been thick as thieves since arriving in the jungle, but the love-in between I’m a Celeb contestants Ruby Wax and lad-duo Angry Ginge and Aitch is on the rocks.
Suspicions are rising and friction forming in the Australian camp with some contestants not enjoying the pair being made leaders, following in Tom and Vogue’s footsteps.
First to voice disapproval was their long time ally, Ruby. As the day’s community meeting started, the American comedian and presenter was quick to tell Aitch and Ginge she was very confused about their new roles, saying she doesn’t like the new status they have “because we were all on an even plane. [It] has thrown me a little bit”.
She questioned: “Are we playing king and deputy, and we’re the low people? Should I be frightened?” The 72-year-old, who’s seen to have built a strong bond with both rapper Aitch and social media star Ginge, added that she felt “a little” scared of them, and she didn’t feel that way with Vogue and Tom “because they never took it seriously”.
Ruby admitted in the Bush Telegraph: “I think we’re divided…” After voicing her concerns, Aitch tried to reassure her, by saying the only thing that had changed was that he didn’t have a chore to do. Ruby disagreed saying: “No, but there’s a vibe…”
Jack and Martin were quick to agree.

Ruby and Ginge (aka Morgan Burtwistle) have proven to be unlikely best friends. The pair hit it off when they competed in the first dreaded bushtucker trial of the season, which saw them make their way through five revolting meals each of vomit fruit, giant mealworms and a pig’s testicle.
From winning meals for camp, the duo have become thick as thieves, with Aitch also getting along with both of them. Ruby even joked that if she could date any of her campmates it would be the two young stars from Manchester. However, it now looks like the romance is over…
