Champions League fixtures as Newcastle United look to secure further their top 8 qualifying spot

There are 18 Champions League fixtures this midweek.
The fifth round of matches to be played these next two days (Tuesday and Wednesday).
Each of the 36 clubs play four games at home and four away, in this Swiss League phase.
There are nine Champions League fixtures tomorrow (Tuesday 25 November).
Then another nine on Wednesday (26 November).
In the Swiss League phase, the top eight clubs will automatically go through to the last 16 knockout stages.
Whilst those 16 clubs finishing between 9th and 24th out of the 36 teams, will go into the play-offs to decide the other eight clubs in the last 16.
With nine points and a great goal difference of +8, Newcastle United are in a very strong position after the opening four rounds of matches.
