Olympiakos appears ready for clash with Real Madrid

Olympiakos saw off Atromitos to preserve its two-point advantage at the top of the Super League table on Saturday, four days before it hosts Real Madrid for the Champions League. PAOK and AEK also won at home, on Sunday.
The Reds defeated Atromitos 3-0 at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, needing a first-half penalty kick by Ayoub El Kaabi and two goals in the last 10 minutes from Mehdi Taremi.
Second-placed PAOK had no problems against Kifissia, especially after the visitors were left with 10 men. The Thessaloniki team won 3-0 thanks to a brace by Taison and an own goal by Simon David.
AEK overcame the strong resistance of Aris with a 1-0 result, courtesy of a late goal by Angola striker Zini from a great cross by Greek international Petros Mantalos.
Panathinaikos continued its winning streak under Rafa Benitez, downing host Panserraikos 3-0. Its second goal by central defender, Tin Jedvaj, an overhead kick, will be long remembered by the 2,500 Panathinaikos fans present, who also cheered on the goals by Anass Zaroury and Tasos Bakasetas.
Asteras Tripolis conceded a late leveller to draw 1-1 at home with Panetolikos.
On Monday Volos hosts Levadiakos and Larissa greets OFI Crete.
Olympiakos is on 28 points, PAOK has reached 26, AEK advanced to 25, and the fourth spot is shared by Volos, Levadiakos and Panathinaikos, all of whom have 18 points and a game in hand.
