Brownfield Ag Weather Today

An active weather will prevail during the busy Thanksgiving week travel period.  Notably, wintry weather will span much of the northern U.S. early in the week, with significant snow possible from Montana into the upper Great Lakes region.  Meanwhile, early- to mid-week rainfall should total 1 to 2 inches across portions of the southern and eastern U.S.  By November 27, Thanksgiving Day, stormy weather will again affect parts of the North, with snow squalls expected downwind of the Great Lakes and precipitation spreading inland from the Pacific Northwest to the northern High Plains.  Late in the week, the potential for wintry weather will expand farther south and east, into portions of the nation’s mid-section.  Progressively colder air will accompany the holiday storminess, with late-week temperatures expected to plunge below 10°F across portions of the northern Plains and upper Midwest.
