McDonald’s is launching its new festive menu in stores today, with a new ‘adult happy meal’ and a ‘fan favourite’ item making a return for a limited time

McDonald’s fans have reason to celebrate as the beloved fast-food giant unveils its latest menu offerings in shops across the country today. Drawing inspiration from the famously grumpy Grinch, the restaurant’s seasonal selection delivers exciting new tastes, playful additions and the highly anticipated return of long-awaited favourites.
Whether you’re passionate about cheese, devoted to chocolate or surprisingly keen on pickles, this year’s festive range caters to every holiday appetite.
A McDonald’s representative said: “McDonald’s is spreading festive cheer with a delicious mix of exciting new treats and returning fan favourites! This year’s line-up is packed with merry burgers, delightful desserts, tasty sides, and hot or cold drinks to make the season even jollier.”

Fresh additions
The chain is embracing seasonal merriment wholeheartedly this year, introducing the Grinch Meal at £9.09, available as a Big Mac, nine Chicken McNuggets or McPlant option. Every selection includes the innovative Grinch McShaker Fries, boasting a gherkin-flavoured enhancement for pickle enthusiasts, accompanied by your preferred beverage, reports the Express.
The highlight is undoubtedly the exclusive pair of Mismatched Grinch x McDonald’s socks included with each meal. Social media users on TikTok are hailing this as the contemporary “adult happy meal” as anticipation builds for receiving the socks this festive period.
Another fresh addition worth getting excited about is the Cheesy Chicken Stack meal, priced at £8.99. “A 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, layered with mega cheese melt, a cheese slice, lettuce, and a warming Chipotle Salsa,” a McDonald’s spokesperson explained.
“It’s stacked, it’s indulgent, and it’s here to steal the spotlight.” Making its return is the Big Tasty for £7.99 (or the double for £9.49). Both options can now be enhanced with a bacon add-on, offering diners even more ways to customise their ideal festive burger.
Snacks and desserts
Also back by popular demand is the “fan favourite” Cheese Melt Dippers with Rich Tomato Dip, available at £2.79, or in a share box for £7.09. Responding to @Minstrel Munches, who sampled the new menu on TikTok, supporters expressed their enthusiasm.
One user said: “The Christmas cheese dipper are always the best.” Another commented: “Cheese melt dippers aren’t new… but they are unreal.”
On the drinks front, the chain has launched the new Frozen Grinch Lemonade, which blends frozen lemonade with a striking, melon-green swirl. For warming beverages, there’s also the new Coconut Latte and Coconut Hot Chocolate.
Those with a sweet tooth should sample the Mischief McFlurry, featuring Smarties, Christmas tree pieces and fruity strawberry sauce. For those preferring a richer flavour, the Chocolate Brownie McFlurry offers a more indulgent chocolate experience.
McDonald’s has unveiled a new item, the Grumble pie, stating: “Bringing some proper winter comfort, the Grumble Pie wraps apple, cranberry and custard in a crisp green pastry for a truly joyful bite of Christmas.”
The fast-food giant is gearing up for “Grinchmas” with the launch of its 2025 Festive Menu on Wednesday, November 26. The limited-edition menu will only be available for six weeks, so make sure you don’t miss out.
