Adelaide weather forecast for Tuesday November 25th and the days ahead

This week, Adelaide can anticipate a mix of unsettled weather with showers and mild temperatures. According to the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest reports, weather patterns across South Australia will be driven by a series of systems, including a low-pressure trough and a cold front affecting the region.

Today, conditions will remain partly cloudy with maximum temperatures hitting 24 degrees. There is a medium chance of showers and a potential thunderstorm in the hills and southern suburbs later tonight.

Tomorrow will see a continuation of the unsettled weather with minimum temperatures of 14 degrees and maximums reaching 21 degrees. Showers are expected, particularly in the morning, and there is an 80 per cent chance of rain. The possibility of a morning thunderstorm also looms, alongside strong winds that will shift from west to northwesterly at 25 to 40 km/h, then tending west to southwesterly during the day.

The showers will ease gradually on Thursday, with a mainly sunny afternoon following a potential morning shower or two. The temperature will fluctuate between 13 degrees and 21 degrees. Wind conditions will moderate somewhat, with west to southwesterly winds prevailing at 15 to 25 km/h.

Friday will see a return to cooler and wet conditions, with persistent showers and a slight increase in temperature to a maximum of 23 degrees from a minimum of 12 degrees. The weekend will follow this pattern, maintaining a cool climate with sporadic showers and temperatures ranging between 12 degrees and 21 degrees.

In terms of weather warnings, the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a strong wind warning for the Lower West Coast, Central Coast, and South Central Coast for Tuesday. The warning extends to Wednesday, with additional regions including Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Far West Coast, Upper West Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait, Upper South East Coast, and Lower South East Coast under advisory.

A severe heatwave warning has been declared for the North East Pastoral District of South Australia. With maximum temperatures forecasted to reach the mid-forties and minimums in the mid to high twenties.
