OFA senior Hamed signs to play volleyball at D2 Pace

Owego Free Academy senior Maggie Hamed is heading to the next level to play college volleyball.
Hamed signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division II volleyball at Pace University during a ceremony on Monday afternoon.
During her high school career, she has helped the River Hawks win five STAC Central Division titles and four Section IV championships.
Hamed was named to the New York Volleyball Coaches Association Class A All-State first team in 2024 and was a fourth-team pick in 2023.
She will be studying psychology and sociology at Pace.
