It’s official, Broncos have a new logo for 2026

Take that Bulldogs.
After months of speculation—and an accidental leak last week from an NRL merchandise supplier—Brisbane Broncos HQ has confirmed the reigning premiers will indeed start the 2026 NRL season with a new logo.
Ignoring Super League in 1997 and a minor facelift in 2006, it’s just the third logo in the club’s 37-year history and the first major change since 2000.
Developed with a global brand agency, the club’s rebrand comes after 18 months of consultation with Broncos players, staff, member groups and sponsors.

“The modern new logo features the iconic Bronco, forward-facing, at its heart, a shield nodding to the original 1988 logo, and the Brisbane River flowing through the mark,” the club announced in an official statement.
“This is more than just a logo—it’s a statement of who we are, where we’re from and importantly, where we’re headed,” Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy added.
“It honours our past, celebrates our city, and positions us for the next generation, making us recognisable globally as we move towards Brisbane 2032 and as the NRL expands overseas.”
