Hansi Flick: ‘We want to show how good we are’

On the eve of one of a clash between two teams that share one football’s biggest rivalries of the 21st century, Hansi Flick insisted that his FC Barcelona team “wants to show how good we are … Chelsea is one of the best teams in the world and it won’t be easy, but we’re confident.”
“They like deep pressure and so do we” he continued. “Buy me teams always adapt to the opponent and in every game the strategy is different. But Chelsea are a very talented team and Stamford Bridge will be a very good game for us to show that we can compete.”
Raphinha step by step
Speaking in his Brazilian striker who has just returned from injury, Flick said “we need to take things cautiously with him. The most important thing is that he has come back following a relapse of his injury. We need to decide how many minutes he should play.”
Flick also described how pleased he is to see his players finally returning from their respective injuries. Joan Garcia also made his comeback against Athletic and will be back in goal again in London, while Marcus Rashford had flu and Frenkie de Jong was suspended on Saturday but will also be clear to play in the British capital.
