Exclusive | Omnicom Executive to Lead Brand Consulting Firm That Works With Private Equity

Alex Lubar, global chief executive at DDB Worldwide, has left the Omnicom Group advertising agency network to become chief executive officer at Fundamentalco, a brand consulting firm that caters to private-equity firms and their portfolio companies. 

He departs from Omnicom as the advertising holding company prepares to close its acquisition of rival Interpublic Group of Cos. in a deal that will create the world’s largest ad conglomerate by head count and revenue.
