What Was The Fruity Pebbles Incident On ‘Mormon Wives’?

Sometimes, the drama that erupts after a new season of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives airs is even juicier than what went down in the episodes.
In a new social media post, Jessi Draper Ngatikaura revealed the true meaning behind the “Fruity Pebbles” incident that put new besties Demi Engemann and Whitney Leavitt at odds in the show’s debut season.
Back in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 1, which dropped in September 2024, the girls whispered about some private act involving Fruity Pebbles that occurred between Demi and her husband Bret Engemann. Leavitt then decided to gift Demi a box of the colorful cereal to poke fun at what was supposed to be her secret off-camera confession. Despite much online speculation, no one ever explicitly revealed how the couple incorporated Fruity Pebbles into their sex lives … until now.
Flash forward to post-Season 3 and Ngatikaura and Demi, once best friends, couldn’t be further apart. The women have been on the outs ever since Demi tried to get the JZ Styles founder fired from the show in order to secure a bigger paycheck for herself ahead of Season 2, and when Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette got involved in Season 3, things got even messier. While he and Ngatikaura admitted to their affair—which consisted of two kisses and some naughty text exchanges—Demi was adamant that they had also had sex, despite their claims that they didn’t.
Demi, on the other hand, was also accused of acting inappropriately with Brunette in Vanderpump Villa. Not only did Brunette claim they kissed in Italy—something Demi vehemently denies—but they also exchanged what appeared to be sexually-charged DMs. Throughout Season 3, Demi professed her innocence and even claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Brunette — an accusation he denied, and her fellow co-stars questioned.
With the online back-and-forth at an all-time high in light of Season 3 dropping on Hulu, Ngatikaura just did the most savage thing she could … she revealed the truth about the Fruity Pebbles incident! Keep reading for everything we know.
What was the Fruity Pebbles incident on Mormon Wives?
In response to Lisa Vanderpump publicly taking Brunette’s side after claiming to have seen all of the footage of his interactions with Demi at Vanderpump Villa, Demi commented, “Jessi’s somewhere punching the air right now that Lisa is talking about me and not her.”
Ngatikaura later took to social media to fire back at Engemann.
“I’m loving this Demi crash-out era right now,” she said in the video, per @tasteof_reality. “Her saying something like this is laughable because [I’d] genuinely not be jealous of someone saying these things that Lisa’s saying about her. She got caught on camera, she knows it, and she’s trying to backtrack.”
Drumroll please…
“So, since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I’m just gonna go ahead and say that Grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it’s dirty soda and he gulps it down like water, and that’s what ‘Fruity Pebbles’ is,” she concluded.
So, there you have it. Ngatikaura is alleging that Demi eats the cereal to improve the taste of her urine, which her husband allegedly likes to drink. I’m sure it won’t be long until Demi responds to this claim. In the meantime, keep reading to find out what we know about The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4.
