‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Demi Engemann Addresses ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Sex With Husband Bret
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann is speaking out after costar Jessi Ngatikaura seemingly revealed private — and controversial — information about her alleged sex life.
“What my husband and I did one time behind closed doors was a consensual and private experience in our marriage,” Demi, 30, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 25, addressing her costar’s claims. “I won’t let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act that I did not consent to.”
According to Demi, she shared her experience “in confidence nearly two years ago.”
“It’s very telling that she’s choosing to break story line and bring it up now, only after her own affair has come to light,” Demi continued. “This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to shift attention away from her own behavior.”

Earlier in the day, Jessi, 33, seemingly answered a lingering question fans have had since season 1 of the Hulu reality show: What does “fruity pebbles” in the bedroom mean?
“Since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda,” Jessi alleged via her Instagram Story on Tuesday. “He gulps it down like water. And that is what fruity pebbles means.”

Jessi and Demi have been engaged in a social media feud since season 3 of the Hulu hit involved separate claims about their respective relationships with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette.
While Jessi has admitted to having an affair with Marciano, 32, Demi has accused him of sexual misconduct. He has denied the claims.
Shortly after Demi addressed the claims, Jessi fired back, calling her response a “good PR written statement” before dropping some additional questions.
“Shift attention away from what exactly? I have been the only one between the two of us to actually face my story head on and share the details,” Jessi shared via her Instagram Story. “I’m not hiding from a damn thing. You’re the one hiding sweetheart and everyone can see it.”

Despite exploring a connection with both Demi and Jessi, Marciano recently revealed that he only has true feelings for one of the Hulu reality stars.
“Jessi all day. That’s the easiest decision of all time,” he said on the Monday, November 24, episode of the “Simplistic” podcast. “Because Jessi was a real person where I didn’t have to question her motives — especially after everything came out. She was such a good person. It was way deeper.”

Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura‘s marriage issues are finally getting addressed — with some help from Marciano Brunette — on season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Marciano said he thinks he was in love with her, adding, “I will always have feelings for her. But she’s married so I shouldn’t be saying that. … I wish I went for Jessi first.”
The drama is expected to continue to play out on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Hulu announced on Tuesday that the show has been renewed for season 4, with 20 episodes coming in early 2026.
While the cast for season 4 has yet to be announced, season 3 included Demi, Jessi, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Taylor Frankie Paul, Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda Hope and Whitney Leavitt.
