Dylan Efron Says ‘DWTS’ Tested His Relationship With Cour…

Dylan Efron is the brother of Hollywood actor Zac Efron, a producer, a reality star, and a boyfriend.
Dylan has shared how his star turn on Dancing With the Stars put pressure on his relationship with his girlfriend, Courtney King. However, he told podcaster Nick Viall on October 13 that they prevailed despite admitting that it’s been a struggle.
Dylan will dance in the Dancing With the Stars finale on November 25. He is dancing with Daniella Karagach.
He made the comments about his relationship on Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files.
Dylan confided to Viall that he “would be lying” if he said that appearing on Dancing With The Stars “wasn’t tough, but I think it’s tougher on Courtney than me.” Dylan previously shared with Viall that his girlfriend isn’t on social media, doesn’t like being on camera, and works a normal job.
According to Us Weekly, Dylan and King met in high school. He’s posted about her on Instagram as far back as 2016.
Part of the challenge is just the time it took. Competing on the show takes five hours of daily practice, which means “my brain’s mush, my body hurts,” he told Viall.
In addition, Dylan was “living outside of our Manhattan Beach place right now, closer to where the studio is,” he told Viall, admitting it was difficult to balance a relationship with the competition.
“It’s trying right now,” he admitted on the podcast.
Still, he revealed to Viall that his relationship with King has survived fame in general, and he “wouldn’t say much has changed” despite his fame increasing.
He said that his girlfriend supports his career. “She knows I love her, 100%. So it’s like, we know it’s all temporary, so that’s why I don’t think anything’s really changed,” he told Viall. “I know it’s hard for us right now, but we’re still where we are. We still love each other and, yeah, we’re in a great place.”
“The cool thing that’s changed is we started traveling together a lot more. Like, for a lot of these trips I’ll do with brands or whatever, I get to bring her with me,” he added, “I think incorporating her more into that has helped our relationship a lot.”
Will there be a proposal? “Well, she knows the answer. We’re working on it,” Dylan told Viall in March. “Courtney’s so down-to-earth.”
He added, “It works out really well. It’s not, like, I’m hiding her from the world or anything. She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera.”
