Epic Games has revealed that singer, rapper, dancer and actress LISA will be the Icon for its next “Fortnite Festival.” The multi-hyphenate K-pop superstar will take the stage for Season 12 of the in-game Fortnite event as the main act of the new “Starlux Music Pass,” which launches Nov. 29.
The new “Fortnite Festival” event will concur with the arrivals of a new Rockstar LISA Outfit plus “FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version)” “Rockstar” and “New Woman” jam tracks in the Fortnite Shop.
Fortnite original act Melodie Mars will open for LISA at the event and the Starlux Music Pass will automatically unlock the Melodie Mars Outfit upon purchase.
“I love seeing how Fortnite brought my alter egos to life in the game so perfectly,” LISA said. “Being the main act for the Starlux Music Pass is an exciting opportunity for my fans to continue experiencing my favorite songs and outfits from my debut album, ‘Alter Ego.’”
The most recent “Fortnite Festival” Icon was Gorillaz, headlining the Season 10 event back in August. Season 11, titled “Mixtape,” did not include one individual Icon and instead acted as a “celebration” of Fortnite original music and rewards.
Previous Icons throughout the history of Epic’s “Fortnite Festival” include Bruno Mars (Season 9) Sabrina Carpenter (Season 8), Hatsune Miku (Season 7), Snoop Dogg (Season 6), Karol G (Season 5), Metallica (Season 4), Billie Eilish (Season 3), Lady Gaga (Season 2) and The Weeknd (Season 1).
