Full injury report for Wednesday’s Timberwolves vs. Thunder matchup

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. It’s the first matchup of the season between the two squads. It also counts toward the 2025 NBA Cup West Group A standings.

The Thunder (17-1) have won nine in a row. They enjoyed some revenge in their 122-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 37 points and seven assists in three quarters.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves (10-7) dropped a shocking 117-112 OT loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday. Anthony Edwards’ efficient 43 points weren’t enough to overcome the upset.

It could be an ugly situation for the Thunder as their two All-NBA players are on the injury report. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) is questionable. Jalen Williams (wrist surgery) is out. Aaron Wiggins (adductor strain) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out. Branden Carlson (G League two-way) is probable. Brooks Barnhizer (G League two-way) is probable. Chris Youngblood (G League two-way) is probable.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are fully healthy. How lucky. Enrique Freeman (face mask) is available. Rocco Zikarsky (G League two-way) is out.
