Met Office issue new 19-hour warning as 5 areas to be battered by stormy weather

The Met Office issued on Wednesday a new yellow weather warning for wind. The new weather warning for the tip of Scotland comes into force at 4pm tomorrow, November 27, and will remain in place until 11am on Friday November 28.
Gusts could hit 70mph, several places could even see gusts in excess of 75 mph. A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Very strong southwesterly winds will develop during Thursday evening, continuing overnight before easing from the west through Friday morning. Gusts of 60-70 mph are likely, with a few places perhaps seeing gusts in excess of 75 mph at times.”
Brits should be prepared for some short term loss of power and other services and some bus services may be affected, with some journeys taking longer.
The Met Office is warning some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves
Those who live along the the coast should be aware of large waves and take care if walking near cliffs b knowing your route and keeping dogs on a lead. In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
