Netflix outage disrupts ‘Stranger Things’ finale premiere; streaming restored across the US
Streaming giant Netflix experienced a brief outage disrupting the premier of the much-awaited finale of Stranger Things. As reported by DownDetector, thousands of users in the US reported issues while trying to stream the finale of Stranger Things. The data on DownDetetcor highlighted that users were facing issues with logging in and complete service failure. As per DownDetector, 55% users complained of video streaming issues, 36% faced server connection issues and 9% were not able to login.Many users also posted about the outage on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Hashtags such as #NetflixDown and #StrangerThings quickly started trending after the outage. “I waited damn near 3 years for stranger things season 5 and you mean to tell me Netflix is DOWN ??!,” wrote a user on X.

Netflix back after brief outage
A news report by Reuters suggests that Netflix is back and is completely functional. In an email Netflix confirmed to Reuters, “Some members briefly experienced an issue streaming on TV devices, but service recovered for all accounts within five minutes.”This is not the first time that Netflix has witnessed an outage during the premier of an important show. Earlier, Netflix faced outage during some important events such as Mike Tyson-Jake Paul boxing bout and the live-streamed reality show “Love is Blind.”
