Jimmy Butler III went for 18 with seven assists and six rebounds while Gary Payton II added 9 with eight helpers and six boards. Moses Moody went for 15 and six rebounds with two steals.

The Rockets are 11-4 and 6-2 on the road this season. They will once again be without Kevin Durant against one of his former teams while the two-time Finals MVP with Golden State attends to a personal matter. In Phoenix on Monday against the Suns, Amen Thompson was the top dog in a 114-92 victory. He had 28 points, eight assists and seven rebounds with Aaron Holiday adding 22 off the bench against a team he also used to play for. Alperen Sengun had 18 pointsm five rebounds and five assists and Jabari Smith Jr. went for 17 with seven boards, two steals and two blocks.
