Tyreek Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus gives vague update about Dolphins WR’s future in Miami

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s 2025 season ended earlier than expected after he suffered a knee injury during Miami’s Week 4 victory over division rivals, the New York Jets.

While Hill has been sidelined for the season after undergoing a season-ending surgery, his future with the Dolphins remains murky. Although his current contract ties him to the 2026 season, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, provided a vague update about his return for next season.

Thanks for the submission!

In a conversation with sportscaster Josh Moser, Rosenhaus said:

“That depends on the Dolphins. I haven’t had any discussions with the Dolphins yet about Tyreek or his future with the team. We’ll have those discussions after the season.”

If the Dolphins part ways with the eight-time Pro Bowler, they will reportedly save $33 million in cap space. It remains to be seen how the Dolphins deal with the situation, given Hill’s tumultuous injury history.

Tyreek Hill’s committed to his recovery amid uncertain future per his agent Drew Rosenhaus

Tyreek Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, shared an update on the veteran wide receiver’s progress after his season-ending surgery. Rosenhaus said his client is focusing on his recovery amid uncertainty around his NFL future.

“Everything I get from Tyreek and the Dolphins is that his rehab is going extremely well,” Rosenhaus said. “He’s working incredibly hard. He’s made really great progress. Everything is going according to schedule.”
“As far as Tyreek’s future plans — he’s said he’s going to take some time to decide (whether or not to keep playing). There’s no rush for him. For right now, he’s focused on his rehab and spending time with his family.”

The Dolphins have sorely missed their star wide receiver, especially their offense, as the AFC East franchise are struggling this season with a 4-7 record.

They have managed consecutive wins in the last two weeks and are aiming for a third win on the bounce as they host fellow strugglers the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
