Wigan Warriors will take on St. Helens in three Derby matches during the 2026 Betfred Super League season, including magic weekend.
As confirmed in the full fixture list reveal this morning, the Warriors will face St.Helens at the newly named BrewDog Stadium in Rivals Round on Good Friday, Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium at Magic Weekend, and The Brick Community Stadium in Round 20.
Matt Peet’s side sit on a four match winning run against St.Helens having extended the streak last season with a Good Friday win on home soil and an impressive victory on the road at the back end of the year.
After making the short trip across Billinge Hill for the annual Good Friday battle, Wigan will meet Saints at the Hill Dickinson Stadium – a new and exciting venue for Magic Weekend. The third Derby takes place three weeks later at The Brick Community Stadium, where Wigan will be aiming to extend their winning Derby run in front of their home support.

The Warriors came from behind last season to take the two points back to Wigan after tries from Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall and Jai Field secured a first away win at Saints under Peet.

Rivalries will be taken on the road for Magic WKND 2026 with Everton’s world-class Hill Dickinson Stadium to host Super League’s fiercest clashes during the competition’s biggest summer festival.
The first fixture between the sides in July will be the seventh time Wigan and St.Helens have met at Magic WKND, with Liverpool to become the sixth host city alongside Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds.

The Warriors were victorious in the last Magic WKND meeting between the teams at Elland Road, Leeds, in 2024 when Liam Marshall, Jack Farrimond and Sam Walters scored tries in a 20-0 win.

Three Rounds after the Magic WKND Derby, the Warriors will be looking to extend their winning run against St. Helens to five matches at The Brick Community Stadium.
The Warriors continued the winning streak with an impressive Good Friday Derby win in front of a sold out crowd during the 2025 season, with Jai Field and Abbas Miski each crossing twice to seal a 24-14 victory.
