Adelaide weather forecast for Thursday November 27th and the days ahead

Adelaide will see a variety of weather conditions over the next few days, as reported by the Bureau of Meteorology. The city is expected to see a mix of showers and partly cloudy skies, with temperatures fluctuating throughout the week.

Today, Adelaide is facing a possible morning shower with a high of 21 degrees. Conditions will improve slightly by the afternoon with a mostly sunny sky, although there’s a medium chance of showers in the morning. Winds are projected to be west to southwesterly at 20 to 30 km/h, decreasing to light winds by the evening.

Tomorrow, the weather will take a turn as showers are anticipated throughout the day with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 12 degrees to a maximum of 24 degrees. The chance of rain is high at 90 per cent, with potential rainfall between 2 to 15 mm. Winds will shift from east to northeasterly early in the day to southwesterly in the evening at speeds of 15 to 25 km/h.

The weekend will continue to see unsettled weather. Saturday will have a shower or two with a high of 21 degrees and a low of 13 degrees. The likelihood of rainfall is 60 per cent with possible amounts ranging from 0 to 2 mm. Conditions on Sunday are similar, with showers expected and temperature highs remaining at 21 degrees.

As we head into December, Monday will also see showers with a cooler maximum temperature of 19 degrees, before the weather clears up partially on Tuesday, resulting in partly cloudy skies and a peak temperature of 21 degrees. The rest of the week looks promising with sunny skies by Wednesday and a significant rise in temperature to 29 degrees.

Current weather warnings include a strong wind warning for the Far West Coast, applicable until the end of Friday. Residents in this area should exercise caution and prepare for stronger winds.

Looking across South Australia, the state experiences a dynamic weather pattern due to a moving low-pressure trough in the north and a high-pressure system transitioning across the south. This will result in isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the northwest, where storms may become severe. Other regions will see varied rainfall, contributing to a cumulative rainfall total by Sunday, especially with thunderstorm activity.

Although an earlier heatwave warning for the North East Pastoral District has been cancelled, residents are reminded to maintain precautions as temperatures can still be high immediately following such events.

Happy Thursday!
