Asda urgently pulls £2.57 party snack from shelves as it’s ‘unsafe to eat’

ASDA has urgently recalled a popular party snack because it has been deemed unsafe to consume.

10 Mini Duck Spring Rolls with Hoisin Dip (220g) have been labelled with an incorrect use by date of December 29.
The date is wrong by a whole month and should have said November 29.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling the product.
These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) have advised customers not to consume the product.
The agency have warned buyers to return it to your nearest store for a full refund.

It comes after the popular high street retailer has issued the call for its bench pad, which is part of its George range.
It doesn’t meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.
In the recall notice it says: “The product presents a risk of fire because, if the bench pad were to come into contact with a naked flame, it would melt and allow the internal filing to catch fire and continue to flame.”
The PSD number you need to check is 2511-0184.
The barcodes are: 506308909667 (Black), 506308909668 (Tan), 506308909669 (Green), 506308939946 (Natural), 506308939947 (Grey).
Anyone with this product in their homes is urged to stop using the product immediately.
Earlier this week, Tesco recalled its celery, fruit and nut salad after it was found to contain an undeclared allergen.
The product is a health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard.
Additionally, the supermarket issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers explaining why the salad was being recalled and what to do if they already bought it.
Shoppers have been warned not to eat the batch by the Food Standards Agency.
The warning is for the 300g salad which expires on December 2 2025.
