One of the most iconic fashion statements are Steve Harrington’s shoes.

In the coming weeks, Nike is set to launch a Steve Harrington x Nike Air Max 1 collaboration.

But in the meantime, we’re still thinking about the Nike Cortez sneakers he rocked in the earlier seasons.

If you’re after a pair of Steve’s legendary sneakers to commemorate the final season, you’re in luck. Thanks to the Black Friday sales, these sneakers are now on sale.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS BLACK FRIDAY?

Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events of the year where hundreds of retailers and brands discount some of their most popular items ahead of Christmas.

The event originated in America and is held on the first Friday after Thanksgiving. In recent years, it has become a global phenomenon with brands slashing their prices and offering whopping discounts.

Black Friday will officially be held on November 28, 2025, though brands and retailers have been dropping their prices since the beginning of the month.

Many deals will also carry over the weekend and into early December. However, this doesn’t guarantee you can buy at any time, as deals are only available while stocks last. To prevent missing out, we recommend you purchase the discounted product as soon as you can.

WHEN ARE THE 2025 BLACK FRIDAY SALES?

This year, Black Friday will fall on November 28, but the Black Friday sales are not limited to a single day. Instead, retailers and brands have been discounting their products since the start of November and will likely continue to do so until Cyber Monday.

WHEN DO THE BLACK FRIDAY SALES END?

Technically, Black Friday is only held on one day, but many deals last longer and carry over the weekend and into December.

However, not all deals will last, so once you spot a discounted item you want to buy, we recommend adding it to your cart and checking out ASAP.

WHAT IS CYBER MONDAY?

Cyber Monday is an online sales event held on the first Monday after Black Friday. In 2025, it will fall on December 1.

These sales will include Black Friday deals that have been extended over the weekend as well as bargains that aren’t available for shoppers to buy in-store.

For many, it will be their last chance to get a great deal as it’s the last major sales event before Christmas, with the next major sale being held on Boxing Day.

WHEN DOES SEASON 5 OF STRANGER THINGS START?

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things began on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Australia with the first four episodes now available to watch on Netflix.

Episodes five, six and seven will drop on Christmas Day and the eighth and very last episode will go live on January 1, 2026 at 12pm AEDT.

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM STRANGER THINGS SEASON 5?

For the epic conclusion of this award-winning sci-fi series, fans are to expect some answers to cliffhangers, satisfying endings to character arcs and the some unexpected twists, turns and character demises:

  • Answers to Season 4’s cliffhanger: We’re not expecting any time jumps, but rather picking up the series where it left off – with the Upside Down leaking in and our core characters enduring the final stages of the war with Vecna.
  • Reuniting fan-favourite characters: Our favourite characters are set to finally be all in the same place at the same time once again, with the series set to give off some original Season 1 energy and nostalgia.
  • Deeper dive into Eleven: We’re hoping to finally have some answers to why Eleven has her powers, what her limitations are and what the Upside Down actually is.
  • It comes down to the final battle: The expected conclusion should see a final confrontation with the overarching villain of the series: Vecna. It should also explain how Vecna and Eleven are connected and their ties to the Upside Down.
  • End of character arcs: There are going to be some emotional scenes showing where each character’s journey ends. Who is going to die? How are relationships strengthened and ruined? The creators of the show – Matt and Ross Duffer – have also hinted that Will is going to have a key arc similar to his story in the first season.

WHERE CAN I WATCH STRANGER THINGS IN AUSTRALIA?

All seasons of Stranger Things are available to watch in Australia on Netflix. The first four episodes of Season 5 are now live on the streaming service.
