Orlando weather: Cold, windy night ahead as temperatures plunge across Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will see a rapid clearing of skies tonight followed by a sharp drop in temperatures and gusty northwest winds.
The cold snap will briefly mimic mid-winter conditions before warmer air returns late in the weekend.

What To Expect:
Temperatures will continue to drop into Friday — which is predicted to be breezy and cold with a low of 45 degrees.

Going into Friday, the weather will be mostly sunny and cool with a high of 63 degrees. That’s about 15 degrees below normal.
Alachua County has a freeze watch in effect.
High temperatures on Black Friday will hover around the low 60s.
