Amy had a mastectomy and chemotherapy after being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2023.

She was forced pull out of Strictly Come Dancing as she underwent treatment.

After returning in 2024, she was again forced to leave early due to a stress fracture in her foot.

Amy was back in the competition this year but was first eliminated alongside The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner.

She then announced on her Instagram that she has been advised by doctors to undergo another mastectomy and is undergoing treatment again.

Amy revealed she was frustrated not to be able to join group dances right now on the BBC dancing show.

She said: “So excited to be back supporting the couples tonight! It’s been three years since I’ve been part of the @bbcstrictly Blackpool Show! I wanna dance so badly, but just need to be patient! Grateful to be here.”
