“Insane” – Will Smith’s wife Cara reacts to the Dodgers catcher’s record-breaking feat at 2025 World Series
LA Dodgers catcher Will Smith’s wife, Cara, dropped a one-word reaction to his record of catching in 73 innings in the World Series. Smith broke Lou Criger’s record of 71 in the eight-game 1903 World Series. Smith squatted behind home plate for 18 innings in Game 3.
Cara posted a graphic from the team on her Instagram.
“A historic World Series for Will,” the Dodgers wrote on Tuesday.

Smith recorded two hits in six at-bats in Game 7. The first was a double in the second inning and the other was a home run against Blue Jays ace Shane Bieber in the 11th.

Will Smith’s wife, Cara, shared a photo on her Instagram of the MLB awards presented by MGM Rewards. The ceremony was held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Thursday to celebrate the game’s best players.
Cara wore a designer black dress while the LA Dodgers catcher opted for a wine-colored tailored tuxedo with a white shirt.
She adored his performance in the 2025 season.
“What a year you have had, my love🫶🏼🖤,” Cara wrote on Sunday.
Cara also shared a post on Nov. 5, highlighting two consecutive years of Dodgers victories in the World Series.
“One year later and Layton gets her SECOND trophy pic!!!! 🏆💙🏆,” Cara wrote on Instagram.
The couple met at a birthday party in Louisville when they were in college, and married in 2020 in Atlanta. Cara was a teacher before becoming a mother to their two daughters, three-year-old Charlotte and one-year-old Layton.
She is actively involved in the Catching Hope nonprofit organization founded by her husband. The foundation works to empower children through educational aids and a leadership program.
Smith is now a three-time World Series champion, winning with LA in 2020, 2024 and 2025.
