Are Caleb Williams and his ex still a thing? His latest online move has fans guessing

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is having himself a year on and off the field.
On the field, the 24-year-old has the Bears sitting at 8-3 as they now play their huge Black Friday matchup with the Eagles, and he’s playing like the franchise quarterback Chicago has been trying to summon for years, with nearly 2,600 yards, 16 touchdowns, only four picks.
Off the field, things are a little murkier. Fans noticed something interesting this week: Caleb liked a new post from his ex-girlfriend, Alina Thyregod. Cue the dramatic music.
Williams stirs buzz with subtle move toard former girlfriend
Williams and Thyregod, the Danish model he dated back when the two were students at Gonzaga College High School, seemed rock-solid not too long ago. They celebrated their one-year anniversary last October, posted the cute couple pics, gave off the “young power couple on the rise” energy… all of it.
Then this season rolled around, and suddenly, she wasn’t showing up at games. No sightings. No tags. No matching fall outfits. Nada.
To add even more spice, Williams was spotted dancing with actress Madelyn Cline at a music festival back in June. That alone had fans racing to their keyboards in speculation.
But this week, Alina posted a cozy fall photo from Denmark, captioned “Efteråret 😁☂️” (“Autumn,” for those who don’t speak Scandinavian chic), and Caleb dropped a like on it.
Does that mean the two are back together? Does it mean they’re talking again? Does it mean anything at all? Is a like ever just a like in 2025 when it comes to exes? Whatever the case, Williams noticed Thyregod. And fans noticed him noticing, and are already speculating again.
