The winners of the “Art that Unites Souls” translation competition were awarded in Ashgabat

Yesterday, the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan held an awards ceremony for the winners of the creative competition “Köňülleri birleşdirýän sungat” (“Art that Unites Souls”).
According to “Turkmenistan: Golden Age,” the competition required translations of written materials on the national spiritual values of the Turkmen people from any international language into Turkmen. Submissions were required to be previously untranslated and unpublished, and not to have utilized artificial intelligence in their preparation.
The competition was jointly organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the management of the Peace Fund of Turkmenistan, the country’s Ministry of Education, and the editorial board of the magazine “Dünýä edebiýaty”.
As the organizers noted, this year’s competition received translations from English, French, Italian, Arabic-Persian, Russian, Chinese, Turkish, and Korean, and the majority of the translations were impeccable.
Following the competition’s conclusion, the winners were announced and presented with valuable gifts and certificates of honor.
