Lakers vs. Mavericks live updates: Start time, TV, live stream

NBA season giving thanks
For Thanksgiving, we talked about all the things we’re thankful for this NBA season.
Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Dallas Mavericks with a chance to extend a five-game winning streak.
Doncic has scored at least 33 points in each of the last four games. He’s leading the league in scoring, averaging 35.2 points.
He’s nearly averaging a triple-double as well with 9.2 assists and 8.8 rebounds per game.
The game will be another chance for Doncic to make a statement against his former team. The Slovenian star was in his seventh season before the Mavericks traded him to L.A. in February.
Anthony Davis was sent to Dallas as part of the trade, and his status has been upgraded to available for the game against the Lakers on Friday.
The Mavericks have lost four of their last five games, including the last two games. In each of the previous five games, a different player has led the Mavericks in scoring.
USA TODAY will provide live updates on the game. Here’s how to watch the game between the Lakers and the Mavericks, including time, TV schedule, streaming info and more:

Anthony Davis injury update
Davis is listed as questionable for the Mavericks’ NBA Cup game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Nov. 28 and could make his return to the court after missing nearly a month of action with a calf strain.Davis practiced with the team on Wednesday and indicated the team’s plan is for him to play in one of the Mavericks’ next two games. Dallas coach Jason Kidd told reporters the team would decide if Davis could play against either the Lakers or Saturday against the Clippers, but that Davis had already been ruled out of appearing in both games on back-to-back nights.
