With 1.5 seconds left in the first quarter of Friday’s game vs. the Suns, Ajay Mitchell exited the game and went to the locker room. He did not come out of the locker room after halftime and has now been ruled out for the rest of the game due to a knee contusion. There’s been no mention of when the injury occurred or the severity of it.

Prior to exiting, Mitchell contributed one assist in five minutes of action.
With Jalen Williams back in the rotation, Mitchell was relegated to a reserve role. Isaiah Joe will likely be the biggest beneficiary until Aaron Wiggins is able to return to action.
