An injury timeout was immediately called despite Tyson popping right back up.

He came back in for a few plays and was seen on a stationary bike before he later went to the medical tent. Tyson was then seen speaking with coach Kenny Dillingham before remaining on the sideline without his helmet.

The reception he made on the play with the apparent injury brought him to two catches for 22 yards on the night.

Tyson missed three games due to a right hamstring injury he suffered in the Texas Tech game. He was initially reaching for his left hamstring on Friday after the awkward fall.

He has an injury history that includes a collarbone injury suffered in the 2024 Territorial Cup which caused him to miss the postseason.
