Niamh Cullen’s husband Jamie Gill has sadly passed away, 13 months after they said I Do.
The influencer and her partner tied the knot on November 8, 2024, in Borgo Di Tragliata, Italy, but Jamie took ill soon after.

‘The light of my life. I was the luckiest to be loved and adored by you Jamie. I love you endlessly, not just now, but eternally. This video for me shows our unconditional love, fun and laughter. I’m broken.’
Niamh was inundated with support, with Aimee Connolly among the first to pay tribute to Jamie as she wrote: ‘Niamh this is such a gorgeous video. I am heartbroken for you guys. Thinking of you all.’
Carol Byrne added: ‘Heartbreaking. Sending you all the love in the world Niamh. I’m so very sorry.’
Niamh and Jamie have been together for eight years. He popped the question in 2022, and they soon had another reason to celebrate as they bought their first home together.
Three years after their engagement, Niamh and Jamie tied the knot on November 8 2024 in Italy, with many of their loved ones flying out to celebrate with them. They later said I Do again in Dublin.
It was during their mini-moon in Rome that Jamie’s health battle began, with him being rushed to the hospital just days after their nuptials.

Although Niamh had spoken about Jamie’s health and how proud she was of him, it wasn’t until after their first anniversary in November 2025 that she fully addressed what they’d been going through.
Niamh told her followers that ‘our worlds shattered in an instant’ when Jamie was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour, and later battled pneumonia, which turned into sepsis.

After undergoing chemotherapy, unfortunately, Jamie’s cancer returned. Niamh has praised her hubby as a ‘fighter’ and said: ‘We will not give up.’
Niamh added in her caption: ‘I don’t think I’ll ever be able to articulate Jamie’s strength throughout this entire journey.
‘He never ceases to amaze me with his incredible positive outlook and mindset, even in the darkest moments.

‘It’s been unimaginably tough seeing the person you love suffer and to feel so helpless. I get these waves of guilt daily because all I want to do is just swap places or take it away, but I can’t.
‘My husband is my inspiration, my hero and I love so much being his wife.’
