From freeze to fog, the weekend warms up ahead of much-needed rain

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After an early morning chill, temperatures will rise into the upper 60s in Southeast Georgia, low 70s in Northeast Florida under mostly cloudy, dry skies. These temperatures will be about 10 degrees warmer than on Friday.

With moisture returning, light sprinkles along the coast can’t be ruled out, but for most, dry conditions continue with northeasterly winds at 15-20 mph, gusts in the low 20s, will keep a little chill in the air. Northeast Florida beaches are under a high rip current risk through late Saturday night.
