Notably, the album includes a collaboration with North West, the talented 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who contributes a Japanese rap to the track “Childlike Things.”
FKA twigs, whose real name is Tahlia Debrett Barnett, expressed how profound it was to work alongside North. The singer reminisced about penning “Childlike Things” when she was only 12 or 13, marking it as one of her earliest creations. Reflecting on their collaboration, twigs noted North’s remarkable maturity and depth. “I feel like she’s seen so much and she’s so mature in a lot of ways, especially emotionally,” twigs remarked. The two artists connected over intimate dinners, where North shared insights that deeply resonated with twigs. “I felt taken aback by her observations of humility that were very on the nose and very true to the things that I’ve learned as an adult,” she said.
