N.S. police warn of an armed man in Enfield, say residents should stay indoors

HALIFAX — RCMP in Nova Scotia are warning residents of an armed and dangerous man in the Enfield area Saturday morning.
An emergency alert sent by RCMP tells residents to stay inside and lock all doors and windows.
The alert also cautions drivers to not provide a ride to anyone asking for one.
Police say the man was last seen on foot in the 100 block of Oldham Road just before 10 a.m., wearing a white T-shirt, and that he has tattoos on his face.
RCMP say no shots have been fired and there is no immediate threat to the public.
A post on the RCMP Facebook page says residents in the area should expect to see a heavy police presence in the area.
