Motherwell 0-0 Hearts: What the manager said

Hearts manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: “Motherwell had slightly the better of the first half. We had some good moments on the break but were wasteful.
“I wanted us to be a bit more positive and we spoke about that at half-time. We kept them away from our door for a half-hour period and I’m annoyed we’ve not capitalised on that.
“For the last 15 minutes, we stopped doing what we were doing and took a step back.
“Over the course of the piece, I think a point was enough and fair. We didn’t do enough to win it and that’s frustrating. We’ll take the point.
“We’re not quite in the same rhythm at the top end of the pitch and we could do with finding that again.
“We weren’t getting too high when we were winning. We’re returning a good points tally at the minute, we just need to get back to showing that attacking threat. We feel we’ve got the answers in the building.”
