Juventus Receives Injury Boost with Federico Gatti’s Return Ahead of Cagliari Clash

Juventus FC has received a significant boost ahead of their upcoming Serie A clash against Cagliari with the return of centre-back Federico Gatti to training. The Italian international rejoined his teammates at the Continassa training ground, completing a full session on Friday, marking his comeback after a brief absence due to illness.

Gatti had been sidelined during the previous Serie A encounter against Fiorentina, where he remained an unused substitute, and was unable to participate in the following Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt due to a bout of flu. His return is particularly timely as Juventus seeks to shore up their defense against Cagliari.

In addition to Gatti, striker Dusan Vlahovic is also set to feature in the match after being benched during the game against Bodo/Glimt due to fitness concerns. His presence will be valuable as the Bianconeri aim to extend their unbeaten streak under head coach Luciano Spalletti, who has guided the team to two wins and three draws in all competitions since taking charge.

While Spalletti has not conducted a pre-match press conference prior to the game, the team’s injury list appears to be narrowing, with only Arkadiusz Milik, Gleison Bremer, Carlo Pinsoglio, and Daniele Rugani confirmed as unavailable for the fixture.
