BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – This morning, Southern University board members approved an employment settlement with former head football coach Terrence Graves.
Graves is due the remaining $250,000 annual salary for October, November, and December of this year. Starting January 1st, Graves will be hired as a university at-will employee with a $75,000 annual salary.
Graves was fired after a 24-3 homecoming loss to Prairie View A&M sent the Jaguars to a 1-6 record. The longtime assistant ended his SU head coaching tenure with a 10-11 record and SWAC Western Division title.
