Spencer Matthews has shared it feels “weird” being away from his wife Vogue Williams. The Made in Chelsea star can’t be in Australia for I’m A Celeb due to his own work commitments. The couple met on Channel 4 reality show The Jump in 2017 and tied the knot a year later.

Spencer is perhaps best known for his appearances on Made in Chelsea. He also starred in Celebrity Masterchef in 2018. The couple share three young children: Theodore, six; Gigi, four, and Otto, three. They often share aspects of their life on social media.

In a recent post on Instagram, Spencer shared a heartfelt message for his wife while she is in the jungle. Vogue entered the Australian camp as a late arrival alongside Tom Read Wilson last week.

The newcomers have slotted seamlessly into camp life and have become two of the most loved and trustworthy members of the famous cast.

Vogue was previously married to Westlife’s Brian McFadden. They tied the knot in 2012, but announced their separation in 2015 after three years. She met her husband Spencer Matthews on the Channel 4 reality show The Jump in 2017 and got married in 2018.

Spencer has recently posted a selfie of himself and Vogue to share how “proud” he is. He said it feels “weird” not being able to speak to her.

He accompanied the cosy selfie with the words: “Impossible to love this woman more… So proud. Not just of what she’s doing now, but generally.

“Admiring her when we first met and wanting to be more like her helped me become a better person. I probably wouldn’t have achieved half the things I’m now proud of if it weren’t for her.

“Every single banging tune that I listened to today reminded me of her. Sometimes I forget that we can’t talk and think to myself that I’ll call her and share the highs and lows of what we’re going through then remember that I can’t and it immediately makes me feel sad… I hate not speaking to her, it feels so weird.

“I’m catching up when I can on her time in the jungle and just find myself grinning ear to ear watching her get more and more comfortable. She is without a doubt the most extraordinary person I’ve met and has always had a deeply positive impact on everyone she meets. Wishing her the absolute best of luck and sending love from afar.”

Spencer will be unable to be in Australia to support his wife because he is taking on his own challenge. The 37-year-old has previously completed his own endurance challenges. Last year, he ran 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordanian desert for charity.

His most recent challenge is called Project Seven, which will see him embark on seven full-distance triathlons in seven different continents in under four weeks. Vogue has sent her support for her husband, as their schedule conflicts mean they will be apart during this time.

Vogue has her own podcast called My Therapist Ghosted Me. She recently addressed claims she and Spencer were heading for a “break-up”.

She told listeners the rumour most likely came about after she didn’t include him in her roundup of snaps from a recent trip to the Glen Affric Estate in the Scottish Highlands.

She said: “I could only assume it was because he wasn’t in my content for Affric, because he came up on the Saturday. But I’m like, maybe it’s because he’s going away as well on his thing for three weeks..”

The Irish presenter continued: “But I’m like, can we not spend, like, any time apart? Do we have to be sewn together now to show that we’re a united front?”.
