4 Superstars whom WWE shouldn’t have left off the Survivor Series 2025 card

WWE has scheduled a lineup of exciting matches for its upcoming major premium live event, Survivor Series: WarGames, coming up this Saturday in San Diego.

Curiously, despite the impressive card, many fans feel that some superstars were overlooked and believe that the Stamford-based promotion shouldn’t have excluded them from the PLE.

Thanks for the submission!

Now, let’s explore four superstars whom WWE shouldn’t have left off the Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 card:

#4. & #3. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez

The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez have established themselves as a top heel tag team in the women’s roster. Hence, many believe that they have all it takes to pull off a hard-hitting battle at Survivor Series.

Since the former Women’s Tag Team Champions recently started to feud with Stephanie Vaquer, the creative team should have extended their storyline with Vaquer and Nikki Bella until Survivor Series, where they could have possibly settled their rivalry, rather than leaving them off the event altogether. Now Bella is set to face off against La Primera on Saturday after turning on her a few weeks back.

#2. WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill

Many suggest that Jade Cargill should have been on the card for this year’s Survivor Series: WarGames.

She turned heel on the October 24 episode of SmackDown, attacking Tiffany Stratton after initially saving her from a beatdown by Giulia and Kiana James. She then faced off against Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI and defeated her to win her first WWE Women’s Championship.

Since Cargill is at the top of her game on the blue brand after winning her first singles championship in the Stamford-based promotion, fans believe that the company booking her first title defense at the upcoming premium live event would have generated much excitement for the upcoming PLE, but she finds herself left off the card.

#1. Ilja Dragunov

Ilja Dragunov has consistently defended the United States Championship every week on SmackDown since capturing it from Sami Zayn on the October 17 episode of the blue brand.

Therefore, the creative team making Dragunov issue another open challenge at Survivor Series: WarGames might have been a very good idea. The United States Championship has not been defended at a WWE premium live event since SummerSlam, and the creative team should have considered changing that.

Hence, having Ilja Dragunov issue an open challenge this Saturday in San Diego for the US Title would have added more prestige to the gold, but as things stand, he, too, has been left off the match card.
