Mystery Man Helps Bron Breakker Pin CM Punk In Men’s WarGames Match At WWE Survivor Series
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames was a giant show this year in Petco Park. San Diego was full of WWE fans for the night, and the WarGames matches took center stage as the main event of the night in front of a record-setting crowd.
Although this match was lambasted for not having any storyline build, there was some. CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso spent most of the year in a feud with The Vision. Reigns and Jey won a match against Breakker and Reed, Punk won the title before Rollins cashed in, and McIntyre and Logan Paul formed a team.
After he was injured, Seth Rollins lost his group, had to vacate the title, and Punk won the open championship. Logan Paul turned on Punk and joined The Vision. The conflict grew across Raw and SmackDown, leading to Punk forming a team with Cody Rhodes and The Usos, while The Vision added McIntyre. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns returned and joined opposite sides, and McIntyre and Paul earned the WarGames advantage. Soon, it was time for the two sides to leave it all in the double ring at Survivor Series: WarGames.
CM Punk started off this match for his team, and he got into the cage by climbing over. Bron Breakker came out first for his team, and he looked ready for war. Drew McIntyre was the first out for his team after Punk and Breakker fought for five minutes. It didn’t take long before Punk ate a Claymore Kick from McIntyre.
Cody Rhodes came in next, and then CM Punk was busted open before he took an accidental elbow from Cody Rhodes. This caused the two to bicker a bit, but then the match continued as Punk continued to bleed. Then Logan Paul came out next, and he brought some chairs in the ring with him.
After Logan Paul’s chairs helped them get an advantage, Jimmy Uso made his way to the ring. Uce took out Breakker with the door, and then he got a table and put it in the ring. During the next few minutes, Cody Rhodes was also busted open above his eye.
Bronson Reed came out next, and he was on a mission. He immediately hit a few Tsunami splashes all around the ring to wipe everyone out. Then Jey Uso came out just as his team was getting dominated.
Brock Lesnar made his way out next, and that was not an easy day at the office for the babyface team. Lesnar’s entrance also cut off Jey Uso playing his music one more time. Paul Heyman walked behind Lesnar as they made their way out. Needless to say, Lesnar took everyone to Suplex City. Then he hit a few F5s to lay everyone out.
After that, Roman Reigns made his way out to start the match beyond, but that didn’t quite happen so far. Brock Lesnar left the cage to meet Roman in the entrance, and then Reigns nailed a couple Superman punches. Then Lesnar caught Roman and nailed an F5 through the announce table.
Lesnar finally got Roman back in the ring. Then the match beyond actually started. Then Punk hit a GTS on Brock and Cody nailed a Crossroads, but Logan Paul hit a splash to stop them. Then Paul Heyman gave Logan some brass knuckles, and he put them on. He hit Cody with the brass knuckles after that. Finally, Roman Reigns nailed Logan with a spear and he took the brass knuckles. Bronson Reed took a Superman punch with the brass knuckles, and so did Drew McIntyre.
Bron Breakker ate a spear from Roman Reigns after that and then they set Brock Lesnar up in front of the table that was propped up in the corner. Suddenly, Lesnar picked up Jey Uso for an F5, but Roman speared them both through a table before he could hit the move.
Bron Breakker hit a spear of his own on Jey Uso after that. Drew McIntyre nailed a low blow on Cody Rhodes as well, and he took a brutal spear from Breakker. However, CM Punk moved to avoid a spear, and then he hit a GTS on Logan Paul for a two count.
Suddenly, a masked man scaled the cage and got in the match. He stood up to CM Punk and nailed a kick to the face of Punk followed by a stomp. Then the person climbed back out of the ring.
Seth Rollins just had shoulder surgery, but this man moved just like the Visionary. After that, Bron Breakker nailed another massive spear on CM Punk and won the match for his team. Only time will tell what happens next in the storyline.
