Watch: Jeremiyah Love sets a Notre Dame TD record at Stanford

No. 9 Notre Dame has struck first against the Stanford Cardinal. Who else but running back Jeremiyah Love has punched it in for the Fighting Irish?
Love, a Heisman Trophy candidate, had several key runs on Notre Dame’s opening drive, including two 18-yard gains. It was the final play of the drive, a two-yard push to the end zone, that got the Irish on the board.

The scoring drive was an 11-play, 66-yard march that took 6:14 off the clock.
Love set Notre Dame’s single-season touchdown record with 21, besting Jerome Bettis’ 20 in 1991. Love came close in 2024, with 19.
