James Harden keeping the faith, believes Clippers can turn it around

AP

James Harden isn’t panicking, even if the standings say the Clippers probably should be.

Los Angeles is sitting at 5-13 after getting rolled by the Lakers 135-118 on Tuesday, but Harden told reporters he still believes this group can find a rhythm.

The Clippers get Memphis on Friday and Dallas on Saturday — two teams with their own issues — and Harden views the stretch as a chance to reset.

“What else are we going to do?” Harden said, per Janis Carr of The Orange County Register. “Confidence comes every day when we wake up, right?

“We got a lot of games left where we can hit a stride, but we’ve dealt with literally everything you can do from injuries to different lineup changes. We’re figuring it out.”

Harden is playing through foot soreness, but he’s not on Friday’s injury report, per Law Murray of The Athletic.

Veteran wing Bogdan Bogdanovic, meanwhile, will miss his fourth straight game with a left hip contusion.

The Clippers need something to spark them. Harden is betting they’ll find it.
