Elizabeth Olsen, whose latest film ‘Eternity’ has officially hit theatres, recently opened up about her relationship with her sisters, Ashley and Mary-Kate. In an interview with The Times, the actress recalled what it was like living with her twin sisters, who had managed to find fame very early on in their lives. She called her childhood growing up “chaotic” and further added, “I was the youngest of four, and we were all born within five years. So now I think the idea of a calm bath and bedtime story routine is so tender and sweet because we didn’t have anything like that.”She further added how the twins were often ‘forced’ to support her and attend all of her plays and dramas, no matter what. “We’re just a supportive family. It feels irrelevant to talk about it after 15 years of working.”

The ‘WandaVision’ actress also revealed that, partially due to the kind of hatred and criticism that Mary-Kate and Ashley used to face, she almost gave up on her dream of acting as well. The star, who studied acting at the Moscow Art Theatre School in 2009, opened up about how she had a hang of what ‘nepotism’ meant at a young age, and that she, for some reason, did not wish to be associated with her siblings. “I guess I understood what nepotism was like inherently as a 10-year-old. I don’t know if I knew the word, but there is some sort of association of not earning something that I think bothered me at a very young age.”Olsen also revealed that though her interest in acting came from an early age, her auditions also made her realise that she was missing out on school, sports, extracurriculars, and many other things.
