Harshit Rana strikes twice to remove Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock for ducks in IND vs SA 2025 1st ODI [Watch]

Harshit Rana helped India strike early twice in the same over of the ODI opener between India and South Africa at JSCA Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday, November 30. The speedster dismissed Ryan Rickelton for a golden duck before taking the prized scalp of Quinton de Kock, who fell for a two-ball duck.

The dismissals came in the second over of South Africa’s run chase. Harshit began his over with a wide outside off and then followed that up with a nip-backer that entered the bat and pad gap to crash into the stumps.

The 23-year-old then bowled a dot delivery before getting de Kock caught behind by skipper KL Rahul with a fuller-length ball outside off. The ball shaped away after hitting the turf, inducing a thick outside edge, and the Men in Blue looked pumped up with early wickets.
