The 23-year-old India National Cricket Team right-arm pacer Harshit Rana gave a fiery send-off to the 22-year-old South Africa National Cricket Team batsman Dewald Brevis on Sunday, November 30.

Dewald Brevis falls to Harshit Rana for 37

Harshit Rana has looked India’s best bowler in the ongoing game against the Proteas in MS Dhoni’s hometown. He bowled a brilliant spell while sharing the new ball with Arshdeep Singh and then continued his brilliance as the ball got older.

Rana struck twice in the first over he bowled as he sent Quinton de Kock and Ryan Rickelton back to the hut before the exceptionally talented top-order batters could trouble the scorers.

When Rana returned for his second spell, he was troubled by the explosive Proteas batter Dewald Brevis, who decided to launch an attack on the pacer.

Dewald Brevis even slammed a remarkable no-look six off Rana in the 20th over, which hurt the ego of the pacer, and he became desperate to pick the wicket of the right-hander.

In his next over, Rana bowled three back-to-back dot balls against Dewald Brevis before picking his wicket on the fourth one.

The right-arm quick bowled a full-length delivery outside off-stump while Brevis got forward to loft. The South African batter couldn’t make a good connection with the ball and was caught by Ruturaj Gaikwad at the sweeper cover.

Harshit Rana was absolutely pumped up after picking the wicket, and he gave a fiery send-off to the batter by wagging his finger and firing an expletive or two.

Virat Kohli also looked charged up and celebrated aggressively as Brevis took a long walk back to the pavilion after scoring 37 runs off 28 balls, with two fours and three sixes.
