IND vs SA 1st ODI LIVE Score (India national cricket team vs South Africa national cricket team scorecard): Marco Jansen (70) and Matthew Breetzke (72) perish in quick succession as Kuldeep Yadav gets rid of both set batters in the space of three balls after being brought back into the attack.

India vs South Africa 1st ODI Live Score: The India vs South Africa ODI series starts on Sunday (30 November)
with the first match at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) International Stadium in Ranchi, marking the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to international cricket.

The legendary duo of Rohit and Kohli last played for India on the Australia tour in October, over a month ago. After failing in the first match, the 38-year-old Rohit scored 73 and 121 not out, while Kohli ended the three-match series with 74 not out after suffering consecutive ducks for the first time in his career. Both players took time to get going due to a lack of match practice and all eyes will be on their form in Ranchi.

Gill missing, KL Rahul to lead India

India are also without their regular captain Shubman Gill, who is suffering from a neck injury, while vice-captain Shreyas Iyer is missing due to his recovery from the spleen injury he suffered in Sydney last month.

KL Rahul will captain India in the ODI series against South Africa, while Rishabh Pant, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma have been added to the squad. Rahul has hinted that
Pant will be playing in the Ranchi ODI, but it will be interesting to see who among Gaikwad and Varma gets a chance.

Ravindra Jadeja is also back in the squad and should right away get into the playing XI. India also have to decide about the inclusions of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar. It would be a bold call to play three all-rounders in the first ODI, but it’s quite likely they may opt for that strategy and drop a specialist batter.

South Africa are missing the star pacer Kagiso Rabada, who has been rested due to a rib injury.

There are
no chances of rain on Sunday in Ranchi, but dew can impact the match in the second innings.
